  • TEDCred score: +175.70 TEDCred reflects your contribution to the TED community.

  • A comment on Conversation: How might you move from tweet to street?

Mar 2 2011: If the tweet is inspiring, it is naturally and organically manifested to action. I am moved by innovative and creative calls to action, though I may not physically act on everything I absorb through social networking.
  • A comment on Conversation: Chris Anderson asked a great question about the criteria for standing up for a TED talk. What should it be?

Mar 2 2011: Speaker teaches about something that is not widely known; presents a different way of looking at something misunderstood; translates a complicated subject into user-friendly definitions; relates the subject of the talk to the broadest possible audience
  • A comment on Conversation: Use design thinking in schools for educators to improve schools and to improve the process of learning in classrooms

Mar 1 2011: Dominic - I was telling a friend about this exact idea just days ago. After returning from Disney World, I was struck by the fact that the imagineers of Disney have literally choreographed every moment of one's experience at their parks. The result: kids and adults alike walk away from their time there with a newfound sense of idealism, creative genius, and the ideas of possibilities. If this were applied to the school room, I cannot even imagine what would come about. Let's get creative design thinkers to step into the role of school-aged children to manifest what could be into a reality. That way, education could birth more than just good test scores but the next generation of innovators and passion-driven citizens.
