My TED story

Many challenges face the 7 billion people currently inhabiting Earth and the billions that have yet to come, and it will require creative, intelligent, and interdisciplinary solutions to efficiently and effectively address them in a timely manner. No one country, one profession, or one technology will satisfy the need for the abundance of necessary and clever solutions. TED and TEDx talks surpass geographic, cultural, and field-specific boundaries to deliver eloquent and thought-provoking presentations for a broad, curious, and proactive audience. At a time when interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration is essential on a global level, this model responds to the ambitious call to provide the foundation from which ideas can be introduced and shared.
