I was first introduced to TED last year during my usual Rotaract Club meeting at my university. We are having a TEDx Talk event and our university is hosting the event. Being a member and a social media coordinator of TEDx Talk, I began to watch TED Talks religiously so that I can promote the event to public members. I fell in love with Sherry Turkle's Talk which titled "Connected, but Alone?" among many many other Talks such as Larry Smith's "Why you will fail to have a great career" and Natalie Warne's "Anonymous Extraordinaire". Then I realized I could get involved by using my bilingualism to good use so that people in Indonesia, my homecountry, can also be inspired and intrigued by TED talks as what it has done to me.
