Apr 20 2012: It may be that a high degree of importance is placed on diet in the western world because there is so much food in the western world. People instinctually eat more when there is more food. Now fifty years of glut in our diet has caused the opposite of death by hunger. We must be more aware because our survival depends on it.
Apr 20 2012: When discussing precise things; measurements, directions, danger. The exact meaning is very important. When it comes to subjects like music, emotion, or god; we could argue semantics all day and in the end we would really just miss the point. It also seems samantics are important when discussing subjects such as how we should "distinguish absolute-relative from objective-subjective".
Apr 8 2012: Involvement. Almost all people will respond positively to attempt to make them part of a larger group effort. As long as you make someone feel like their energy is invested in an outcome they will be loyal to it. It seems to work the same way with brands. The more experience and involvement a customer feels it has with brand the more loyalty that customer will feel. On the opposte side though, an employee who feels ignored or unimportant in a system will, at the first opportunity, strike out at or try to harm that system.
