Paul Piff: Does money make you mean?
Well, it really might be the 'mean personality' that does get people ahead and rich. About randomness: it just might be that the study subjects click into the dominant behaviour that is experienced to be necessary in our consumerism society.

Can you make up for the lack of sleep?
how about starting to heed his advice preparing for a good night's sleep RIGHT NOW and keep to it?! I am quite sure that some damage can be halted and even reversed by starting the 'good sleeping habits' now, the sooner, the better. I pledge to do so myself

Do you believe that our future is bright, if yes, why and if not, why not?
I agree with just about everything you say, except: we cannot wait for the spiritual leaders to take control ( actually I do beleive that spiritual leadership is NOT about control...) we need to realise that each and everyone of us is personally responsible for his or her thoughts, actions and emotions.....that is where we need to head - enjoying ourselves on the journey does help :-)
