  • A comment on Conversation: If you have chance to perform a TED talk , what topic you will choose?

Apr 30 2012: Astronomy and the wonders of the universe, paired with famous inventors and scientists.Definitely
  • A comment on Conversation: Do socio-biological determinants of health justify redistribution of wealth in grossly unequal societies?

Apr 30 2012: The statistics and reality speaks the truth. However having low social status and the stress it brings does not always make a person unhealthier. In some cases, this may cause some people to strive with all their might towards a higher social status and succeeded.

A comment on Conversation: For the several people who have not discovered their passion yet, just like me,confused without knowing what is a passion! what do we do?

Apr 29 2012: To be honest, i feel the same way, like you know that there is something out there that you like and want to do but you just have not discovered it yet, like a void in you.Even though I am only 16 years old, I can understand waere you are coming from with this question.
I personally feel that you should start or continue to experiment with new hobbies or activities like me.That is how I found my passion in Astronomy.I hear India is a great place for astronomy enthusiasts, maybe even search for astro interest groups i your area thank you
  • A comment on Conversation: Black Holes are Subduction zones in Space.

Apr 29 2012: This idea maybe true. However this has already been theorised by A.Einstein in his theory of General relativity in the sense that Black holes(entry points) and white holes or worm holes(exit points) link different parts in space. Here is an illustration:

A reply on Conversation: What inspires loyalty within the organizations you work with?

Apr 15 2012: "cetris paribus" is a latin term commonly used in economics, it means with all other things or conditions held constant, which in this case things like the working environment, proximity to the workplace and working hours.
I agree that Linds's statement concerning applying loyalty to an organisation is also true to a certain extent but what you are actually loyal to is the company's ideals and not just the company. A brand or a company just by itself is nothing.
Thank you for your reply in advance and you're welcome.

A comment on Conversation: What inspires loyalty within the organizations you work with?

Apr 15 2012: Loyalty is not something you can look for in an employee or a customer.Loyalty depends on tastes and preferences. If you love your job, can you bear to leave it for something else you dislike just because they offer a bigger and jucier paycheck? When you work at something you like, you feel that you have a purpose there. The feeling that the things you do matters makes you loyal to that ideal, which is then characterised by preferences.
But money does play a part in this, if another company also lets you do what you love and pay more, it would be rational to transfer to that company, cetris paribus.
