  • A comment on Talk: Naif Al-Mutawa: Superheroes inspired by Islam

Jul 20 2010: Interesting indeed. The eastern and western civilizations are changing at fast pace. A long time ago, the west assimilated the mid-east's religions and now, the east is doing the same with culture and media. For example, a man wearing suit and tie can travel to any country of the world and he will not look strange to the locals. I ask myself: are we really going toward to a global culture?

Jul 19 2010: These guys should perform on that canadian show 'Just For Laughs'.
  • A comment on Talk: Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy: Inside a school for suicide bombers

May 27 2010: How can one argue with a person who has heard such things from childhood? The question is not about which religion has perpetrated more atrocities, but to allow each individual, no matter where you are, have your right to discuss ideas preserved. The moment a person is free to argue these dogmas, institutions interested only in ignorance has its foundations weakened. The prohibition to read news from other sources (and banning Facebook in other places) is the biggest proof of that.
  • A comment on Talk: Craig Venter unveils "synthetic life"

May 26 2010: Amazing. Not so far, we were just beginning the human genome sequecing. Now it's possible, from a digital file, get a living cell. Ask me again, ten years on future, about this particular day and I will say: "Amazing".
  • A comment on Talk: Richard Sears: Planning for the end of oil

May 24 2010: The real solution for energy demand is an array of power sources: solar, wind, tides, smart roads... None of them will be the primary solution.

A comment on Talk: Dee Boersma: Pay attention to penguins

May 23 2010: Ok Mrs. Dee. You've convinced me I need a new OS. I'll install penguin's,.. Seriously now, we got to abandon the idea of humanity is above the animals. We are on the same boat. What happens to them, will happens to us.

A comment on Talk: Graham Hill: Why I'm a weekday vegetarian

May 22 2010: Animals, today, are the ultimate slaves wich sustain our civilization. Paul MacCartney has been talking about a 'Meatless Monday', I think one single day on week without meat very reasonable.

A comment on Talk: Julia Sweeney has "The Talk"

May 17 2010: Amazing how in the 21st century we still have trouble talking about sex with children, while people get killed on TV does not need any explanation at all.
  • A comment on Talk: Penelope Boston says there might be life on Mars

Apr 27 2010: "Life is a natural outgrowth of the increasing complexification of matter over time" is one of the more reasonable things I've heard last years.
