Debby Romberg Posted over 3 years ago How are different body parts connected to the emotions we traditionally associate with them? Good question! That's what makes me wonder too. There are so many "old-fashioned" sayings like (in the Netherlands anyway) having something on your liver, spilling your bile (gall), hard to swallow, and a few which are hard to translate properly without losing their meaning. It also reminds me to the theory of William James (psychologist/physiologist) about the role of the body in emotions. Looking forward to responses from the TED community!
