Shall We Pity the Entertainment Industry?
No we should not take pity on the Industry but in the Arstists ... The Industry is in big parts to big and slugish to adapt to change in time. A new industry will form... Pirating copyrighted material has become a multi Billion Dollar Industry in it`s self ... the next logical step for us Producers of art to step up and get our share from the people making the mony now... As with the old system we already have a co dependancy, they (pirates and /orentertainment industrie) need us (creatives) to keep on producing content, we need them to distribute that content to an audience and collect revenues (advertising/subscription fees what ever), so in the long run the only thing happening is that the industry is changing hands ... I belive history will in somewhat prove Marc Getty (founder of Getty Images) wrong when he said "Intellectual Property is the oil of the 21st century" Copyright has to change, Intelectual property "written in stone" for 90 years after death is sensless and kills new creativity, the future of copyright should be more flexible (lice creative commons )and will have to have a shorter life spann...

In what way is Religion like brainwashing?
What you are actualy seeing in these big events as World Youth Day, or the Hajj, or other big scale Religios events is more the result of Brainwashing. As the Indoctrination of most Religious people beginns in there early youth they have been conditioned to belive that these events are going to be big euphoric events that will make them feel the presence of god. Sleep deprivation and mal nutrition leed exhaustion in order to compensate and keep the organism roling we produce endorphins which leed to euphoric feelings and so full fill the prophecy. So in the end you get a sort of self endorsed brainwash...
