  • A reply on Conversation: Why do we die until we want to die & until we have lived our lives fully? What is beyond that?

Mar 15 2012: I agree with you sir. As you say, it is a lot about building quality relationships while we live, to increase our love for one another, to serve one another, to help people develop a good concept of living and then prepare our minds for the next level of life on a higher plane of existence. All these things although important to us take a back seat when we are young. I believe this becomes a lot more clear when we approach old age.
What you have written is a lot of what he had done all his life. Though I always valued my grandfather's thoughts and ideals, I have a stronger determination to follow them after loosing him.
Thank you for your valuable response.

A comment on Conversation: How important a role do you believe Passion plays as an educator?

Mar 14 2012: All great people, great achievers we have on earth have one thing in common - passion, irrespective of their area of interest. A passion for your interest is all that takes you to be the best. Maybe not the best to the world, but the best in terms of your own standards, if you evaluate honestly and be true to your self.
According to me, educators can be said to be passionate if they remember two things and practically apply them-
Their job is to pass all their knowledge to their students in whatever manner they can.
They must remember before writing the word "Fail" on their student's report card - it is not the student who has failed. It is they who have failed in their job.
Next time they would do everything to prevent that failure.

A reply on Talk: Jill Bolte Taylor's stroke of insight

Mar 5 2012: You say "There are ways to become an "observer" without having a drug addiction.". Well, I'm not into drugs, etc. but would like to know what are the other ways! I mean what Dr. Jill had experienced, how can we people experience? I have tried to meditate but the inner chatter does not stop or i just fall asleep!

Mar 5 2012: Dr. Jill, thank you! You made me realize, it is we who decide what we want out of our lives, what to do every moment of our lives. I hope to think more consciously.
