- Representing the employer, a Chinese language school at the annual Careers Fair in Vienna.

Assistant in family-owned fashion shop in Vienna
Main activities and responsibilities included:
- Communicating with customers, especially when they are tourists and help safeguarding the stock and answering enquiries from customers;
- Running the family’s shop on behalf of parents for a short period of time which included promoting sales, replenishing stock, keeping records, carrying out stock checks, double-check sales figures and motivating a younger cousin to assist in running the shop.

Languages: Speak fluent English, Chinese and German.
Development and improvement of important skills in:
- Oral and written communication: e.g. audience-oriented presentation of the BA theses and teaching material;
- Promoting communication between teachers und students while working as a student tutor;

- Project management: successful completion of two BA theses in group work within one semester without compromising their quality and be in charge of a translation team as project manager to coordinate a CAT (computer-assisted) translation project in a simulated business setting.
