Macarena Garcia, 23 years old, has a degree on Public Relations in UADE University, and focused on Tecnology and new media channels, born to be an entrepreneur. She has been working for more than 4 years on Corporate Communications in different companies. Today she is happily at PersonallyPR, one of the most important PR Consulting firms of the country with clients such as IBM and GE. Macarena focuses on the development and strengthening of a contacts’ net of influencers and offers strategic support on comms and crisis management and coordinates different multimedia content.

In her past she worked for Companies such as Arcor, Banco Itaú, Megatone y Procter & Gamble.

My TED Story

A friend took me for the first time to TEDxRíodelaPlata and I spent all the morning crying after the TED talk by Benjamin Zander. From there I did not stop until I internalized about TED and then, another friend called me to collaborate in the organization of TEDxLagunaSetubal in which I am happily helping!
