Feb 14 2012: I'd like to understand a little more about where you're coming from, though, it sounds extremely interesting. You tested the generated futures?
Jan 16 2012: I use VariCAD, which is a linux/windows compatible CAD program, its native image file is .dwb, but AutoCAD's is .dwg, so I converted it, if you get VariCAD I can send you the native file.
Jan 16 2012: I also made a component for the system, to attach (without welding) 2 perpendicular struts. It uses 1 bolt, 1 nut, a 4-8 inch section of a material (possibly another that you're using) to fit inside of the 2-inch square.

Jan 11 2012: Okay, I made a design using only the stop sign posts, for adjustable-use. Though, many of the parts can be replaced with lumber, made more permanent with Straw bale (for insulation, to make a dome house for longer residence), and other modifications.
Here's some basic drawings I threw together.

Jan 11 2012: It's extremely easy, when compared to traditional building. Think of laying brick work, the staggering pattern, that's how you lay them, with the option of reinforcing the walls by adding vertical re-bar on whatever pad you use (concrete, dirt etc.). Then, using a frame on the sides of the walls, you cover the entire surface area of the walls with tightly strung chicken wire. After that, you earth-plaster over-top the wire and straw, to make a stucco like finish. For openings, you need to reinforce the section above using angle iron or large studs. From there, you could make regular walls on the inside, or incorporate the straw again into thicker walls or support Beams, though it would likely need to be 3 units wide to allow for the stagger pattern (a fair contributor to the overall lateral strength of the wall.)
Jan 11 2012: it's planetary consciousness, it's more then a database of URLS and media. the reason why we can't live without it is simple, it's the newest and highest density of connection, it connects the world. It provides the most relavant "dialect" of consciousness, not latin. think about Egypt, when Menes united upper and lower section to form a nation. then, the highest form of consciousness was national, thus their loyal worship of the pharoahs and other heirarchy via elaborate constructions, beliefs, values, and direct worship. doesnt that sounds like the internet as well? There's almost no escaping its structure , just like back then. I have a question for you: where does consciousness go from here?

This uses 8 foot lengths for the support floor struts, 1.25 foot lengths for the "main-frame" struts. 10 foot lengths under Main-frames. enjoy!
