Should Cannabis be legalized as a medicine?
I believe that al drugs should be legal. I don't do drugs, but I know many people who do, and something I've learned is that making something illegal won't stop people from using it. Another reason why I believe all drugs should be legal is alcohol and cigarettes. The two are drugs that kill people, not only the user, but those around them. So yeah, all drugs should be legal, I think it would make them easier to manage.

What does cave art mean to you?
In my writing intensive class we always touch upon this subject. We humans are always creating things not just to communicate, but to leave a mark. Something my professor always says, and I agree with, is that, these cave paintings are more of a message, something that says "I was here, this was me."

Diane J. Savino: The case for same-sex marriage
So you are implying that if a person has homosexual tendencies they should just suppress their feelings to please society. its like saying that women shouldn't have a right because even though they want to be treated as equals society didn't accept them so they should just keep their mouths shut and be below men.. and for your reference to drugs and other substances, those actions actually hurt others, not just the person thats doing the drugs, so they are punishable and deemed illegal because they have an impact not only on the first party but third parties also.. as for the kleptomaniac reference, again, that person is taking things away from you, from the public, and it doesn't only affect him, it affects everyone thats involved. Homosexuals have no impact on heterosexuals other than intellectual, so just because you don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't be. It has to have an effect on you other than dislike. your third argument is true, peoples opinions have an immense impact on society, as does homosexuality, but contrary to your belief, it is not a negative one. They are just fighting for what they deserve as human beings, and that doesn't take anything away from us, and doesn't hurt anything other than your ego.

It is highly improbable for everyone to just turn gay, and second children that are raised by seams sex couples do not tend to be gay. its like saying that all heterosexual couples have heterosexual kids, then how did gay people come to be in the first place? third, you talk about homosexuality as a pest and try to treat it as such, but just denying a person the right of marriage won't stop them from being homosexuals.

How can Homosexuality be a choose? so you chose to me straight? When you were 5 or 6 did you think " I am going to be a heterosexual and not a homosexual because I have a choice." One does not simply chose to be a homosexual, Ideas, and actions do play a part in it, but homosexuality isn't something you chose, just like heterosexuality. And you also say that race and sex are genetic certainties, but there are individuals who are xx and are still males, and there are xy that are females. xx, and xy are the norm, but there are exceptions in phenotypes, they don't always follow the genotype.

I do not mean to be hateful or bashful to your faith, I believe in a loving, forgiving god. One that loves everyone for who they are, and who they chose to love. Why is homosexuality immoral? because the church deemed it so? You keep quoting the bible, as if you were there when it was written or as if it were undeniable proof of the words of god. But what you do not mention is that the church omits chapters of the bible that they claim are "confusing", but in reality they just contradict the church and some of the passages in the bible itself. So if it is as you say, it is alright for people to own slaves, it is alright for a daughter to sleep with her father. the bible has many things that would be deemed immoral and inhumane today, so those things are alright to omit, and to not follow. But when two people love each other and care like some of us don't, they don't have the right to be recognized? who are you to claim so? who are you to judge them and deem them immoral in your ayes, and in the eyes of a God which you do not know. I believe in an all knowing God, one that does not care about humane ideals and churches. He cares that you are good to yourself and to others, and that you love your bothers and sisters, but what the church and individuals like you do is proclaim God your own, and your ideals of him the truth. Examine your self, and look at your flaws, and then see if it makes you righteous to judge others.
