• A comment on Conversation: Is comparing to each other good or bad?

  Apr 2 2013: Imagine comparing yourself to a hobo. That would be a big injustice! In a similar way, comparisons should only be made between people who have the same lot in life. In that way, the comparisons serve as a morale booster or progress checker.

• A comment on Conversation: When is it time to quit? And how does one know?

  Apr 2 2013: To quit is to stop doing something especially permanently. The implication is that sometimes, quitting is a sign that you have the strength to give up what is not bearing you fruit. So QUIT when you feel/notice that you are putting in more than you'll get out of something!

• A comment on Conversation: How can we best engage college students in the idea of learning instead of just getting a degree?

  Apr 2 2013: The Curricular in these colleges also needs adjustments. You will agree that they are very bulky, centered only on those students who can quickly 'gun' material, rather than learn it. I think the problem starts from childhood. The whole learning environment has to be centered on learning, shaping our minds to question stuff. Then we may be ready to do it with the mental attitude required.

  Dec 13 2011: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. A black lung disease after inhaling silicon dust. Its infact the longest english word.

  Dec 13 2011: then i can say we use all knowledge we have acquired when thinking. It can be using words, pictures videos, sounds etc.

  Dec 13 2011: i would want to find out what existed before the first human walked the earth and also what made it exist and what made that exist and so on....

• A comment on Conversation: How would we treat each other if we were not controlled by a need to be right?

  Dec 13 2011: according to creation, we are all made with the inherent tendency to do whats right. This is also known as the conscience. The same way a resting magnet points to the north is the same way an unaltered person is willing to do what we consider as right based on our inborn judge- the conscience.
