  • A reply on Conversation: How would things be different if the standard for tuning instruments was A -432, instead of A-440 ?

1 day ago: Oh come on, I bet there would have been less war, and less disease...

I bet there may be less people saying that they have ADHD...

You are a TED TRANSLATER ! Come on, look at the science! Watch plants grow with different frequencies!

1 day ago: No really, look at sound healing...watch how cells change at different frequencies. There could be something there. To me it's not apparent yet, that nothing would change...

1 day ago: I bet you a dollar that if 1 million people hit tuning forks, tuned at A 440, the Earth would shatter.

I'll bet you another dollar that if 1 million people hit tuning forks, tuned at 432, the Dallas Cowboys would win another superbowl, and all Cohiba cigars would be legal in the US. :)

2 days ago: Are you serious?

You said you want to meet thinking people? Well then, start thinking and join in. :)

440 is slightly sharp. Buy a microscope and watch water vibrate to different frequencies, then think.

I bet stuff would be different if A were tuned to 432. Cigars might taste better, wine may taste better. People may try to get along with each other.
  • A reply on Conversation: What are some realistic and creative ways to reduce wealth inequality?

May 24 2013: I like that question, when is enough...actually enough? Only a higher power would know...?

That would be a good debate!

I agree it is not fair to take anything, from anyone, unless the person stole or was corrupt or unethical.
My way of fixing wealth disparity would be to abolish and break up any large corporation, spread the money and opportunity around. A restaurant does not need to be a chain restaurant. Only one is needed. An automobile company should only have one factory. That way we have thousands of choices of cars. I would like a car from South Africa instead of South Korea. Or better yet, I would like a car made in Lesotho. I would like a computer from Yemen, and gene therapy from Madagascar.

May 24 2013: Wow, I have never argued with someone from South Africa! Cool :) (nice to meet you)

Tell my friend with Cerebral Palsy and who has a difficult time working...that he is poor because he can't deal with money.

The people who do most for charities are not the wealthy. Most of the wealthy I know throw money live in fear of being taken advantage of...mostly by other wealthy people. The people who do most for charities are the people who put time and love in, not just money.

A reply on Conversation: What are some realistic and creative ways to reduce wealth inequality?

May 24 2013: There is no reason why everyone should not have the same intelligence, as well as wealth. Humanity has the power to grow neurons, and understand how to heal people with any type of neurological disorder. With gene therapy, we can help anyone.

It is about the money. Wealthy people are becoming more wealthy and powerful, and they are ones who can decide where the money goes.

However, it is not always the wealthy who create problems. Corrupt people ruin it for everyone. Unethical people ruin for everyone...
  • A reply on Conversation: If humanity is going to continue on like it is, then it should probably take things to a new level.

May 24 2013: and they would sell wayyyyy more food and drinks, and TV commercials could be longer...and they would have to make more sticks and skates, and maybe the arena would have to put in more comfortable chairs... hee hee

May 23 2013: Yes ! Good Ideas ! Also, I get disappointed sometimes when I accidentally drive by a Coffee Shop, and then I have to drive yet another 1/2 mile before I reach another one. I think Coffee Shops should all be owned by the exact same company, and they should be no more than 500 yards from each other, no matter where you go.

With Hockey, how about make the net half as big, and the game twice as long. :)

A comment on Conversation: Why can't we all get together and find a cure to all terminal diseases?

May 22 2013: As soon as Humanity decides that people are more important than money, power, and glory, unncessary suffering through disease will be gone... and longevity will increase. I recently was able to walk around a college campus. In one lab, the students were stopping atoms using lazers. In another lab, they were studying Oncology: Yet, these two labs never communicate with each other. This makes no sense at all ! I think Humanity already has the technology to "Manage" disease better, and therefore eliminate virtually any type of disease. Money, patenting, control, responsibility, law, all hold things back.

Unfortunately, even in the best case scenario, diseases will always have to be managed because they are "Infinite" and "Entropy" is infinite.

I do not know how to change Humanity's values from an Entertainment, Restaurant based values to values of reducing suffering and increasing joy. We need 10,000 more electron micro-scopes, and 10,000 fewer restaurants. 10,000 more Biochemists, and 10,000 fewer people being paid minimum wage.

Thank you for the question. I appreciate knowing that others care.
