  Nov 26 2011: thank you for your quote, it's quite true. we're learned from the process in achieving our goal, not from the goal itself. from the good and bad experienced, it will gives us a priceless lessons.

  Nov 26 2011: yes. absolutely right. really interesting anyway, from the phrases you said that "empty your mind of past and future, and dwell totally in the moment at hand". it's like anonymous said that "Do not you worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will take care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

  Nov 26 2011: I’ve heard this quote many times, it's quite popular and i absolutely agree with it. It’s one of Nietzsche’s most memorable quotes – it aptly reflects the human condition, and it motivates, very much. It motivates the unbeatable side of me, at least. And I suspect – that Nietzsche quite ironically, was foreseeing his own future, becoming stronger and stronger, until he met his doom and faced death head. He died an insane man, but a strong one.

  A reply on Conversation: What will you do in the next five years?

  Nov 25 2011: Sorry, but in my opinion, we have to set a goal in two ways, not only for short-term, but for the long-term also. First one is goal that we must reach at least at one - two years or we can called it as "short-term goal", and the second one is a goal that we must reach at least 5-10 years later, and we can called it "long-term goal" .
  
  We can use our long term goal to be based for our short term goal. Thus, from the long term goal, we can predict what we could get in the future, and just like the thread starter said, "This will help me focused on my dream that must be achieved, at least, in five years". Yap, we can focusing for what we could get in the future from the long-term goal target. It is not just about dreaming and waiting like you said, but its all about make planning - preparing - and take action earlier to get our goal in the future ahead.

  Nov 24 2011: Full timer dad and husband. As well as, part timer - tax consultant and photographer, that's for sure :)

  Nov 24 2011: in every way with a good-preparation, and still, supporting with hopes and pray. I believe it will not just make you get more confidence, but also create a perfection :)
