The implement from him in this talk is that he views language just as a tool of communication and cooperation , and the best solution for us human beings to " visual theft". So he just assumes that if we want to come together for the purpose of cooperation, and if we want to have a communication about technology, art, culture and so on, then we have to conquer the barrier which our different languages have brought to us, and probably on day in the future, there is one world with only one language from the point of human cooperation. Here, I totally stand for him about this opinion. But on the other side, language in my view, is not just a tool for communication, language itself is also a great creation of human beings from all around the world. Language can represent a nation's culture and its perspective about this world. Language is the guarantee for keeping a nation's sustainable development , and the bridge for sustaining the cultural diversity of this world. So here I just want to say, for the aim of the whole world's cooperation, maybe we really need just one language, for example, English; but on the other side, if we want to keep the diversity and activity of our world's culture, we should really cherish our mother tongue.
