More About Me

I'm passionate about

Mind=[education, logical, smarts, mental skill, mental effort, etc. ] Body=[sports, health, fitness, physical skill, physical effort, etc.] Soul=[creativity, abstract, art, music, spiritual effort]

An idea worth spreading

There are different forms of dance in the world. My mind dances when learning, my body dances when I run, and my soul... my soul dances with God.

My TED Story

I first got exposed to Ted after having watched the TV series "Lost" and the films "Star Trek"(2009) and "Super 8". I had become interested in the work of J.J. Abrams and google things to find out more about him. I happen upon his TED talk "J.J. Abrams' mystery box". That is how i discovered TED and I have been hooked to TED ever since.

Oct 9 2012: "Technically all theory's are wrong and can never be proven right. So any theory is neither right or wrong."

    Is that your theory?

Oct 9 2012: "Also the only truth is perspective. We can create conventions of what we agree is close to a standard of what equals truth. But it is not truth."

Is your statement something that we could agree is close to a standard of what equals truth?

Oct 8 2012: What if the mother asked the kid to murder and the kid new it was wrong? The kid's punishment wouldn't be as harsh as the mother's should be but the kid would still need to be punished right?

Children don't go to jail but they would still undergo some form of punishment, right?

    @ TED Lover

But Eve did know, didn't she? She told the serpent what would happen upon eating the fruit and the serpent replied saying that she would not die. Should someone ever be punished for just being ignorant of something? Shouldn't they only be punished for wrongful action?

Oct 7 2012: So are you saying cancer could never become a 'fully fledged human' on its own then?
  • A reply on Conversation: what is the best video game? the top games poeple like to play and would like to play.

    Oct 7 2012: TED= Technology Entertainment Design

Games use all three and have been the topic of a few TED talks which even portray many games in a positive light. This could actually be a very constructive conversation about different game element, mechanics, art design, story etc. Games can incorporate various different art and media forms rolled into one.

So how is this on the wrong site?

Oh yeah, and what are your favorite games?
    Mine are Portal(9.5), Braid(9.3), Limbo(8.7), Journey(9), Dear Ester(8.5), Super Metroid(9.4)
Out of those: Best story = Braid, Most Thought Provoking = Journey & Dear Ester & Braid, Funniest = Portal
Challenging = Limbo, Best art design = Journey, Best Mix of Elements = Super Metroid

Oct 7 2012: Can you help me understand?
Does being ignorant of doing something make you innocent of it? If it did then if someone killed a person without the knowledge of it being wrong would they then be innocent due to their ignorance?

Was Eve even ignorant, because God did warn her? Was she innocent, because she did take a bite?
  • A reply on Conversation: Is a Fetus a Person?

    Oct 7 2012: @ Linda Taylor

How do we determine if a fetus can make decisions or not?

A reply on Conversation: Is a Fetus a Person?

Oct 7 2012: That's impressive. Would you have a guess at what the odds would be of cancer forming a fully fledged human (arms, legs, etc.) verses the fertilized egg?
  • A reply on Conversation: Is a Fetus a Person?

Oct 7 2012: Yes a fertilized egg is a cluster of cells and so is cancer, but does cancer have the potential of becoming human?
