More About Me

My TED Story

I found TED by chance. A friend of mine send me an email with a RSA presentation, ( those amazing drawings that tell the story the speaker is developing at the same time). It was the one of Sir Ken Robinson "school kills creativity". I was shocked with both the presentation and the message. So I looked for more about Ken Robinson and found TED. I felt the same feeling as a thristy traveller through the desert who finds an oassis.

  Nov 12 2011: So your point is that if you want to be ready for mistakes you have to try first with little ones with little consequences that you can afford at "low cost". Very sensible!

  Nov 12 2011: Well, missing on porpouse is not a real mistake, is it?. There is no possible success and no hope that can be ruined. In fact, doing so isgetting right instead of wrong, because the result you achieve is the one you are looking for!

  Nov 7 2011: Real success means innovation, breaking limits, creating something new and original. Only passion can provide this. But some people refer success as earning money, or social recognition or wining awards... . That kind of success can be provided by kwoledge needing very little passion.

  Nov 6 2011: No doubt, passion is stronger. Passion has no limits but is stupid sometimes, knowledge limits itself with his own wisdom.

• A comment on Conversation: We must teach the teachers before teaching students.

  Nov 6 2011: who was first the hen or the egg?. We need changing learning by changing teaching, but teachers were learners some time. It´s time for politicians and educational authoryties to take decisions. Laws and rules were made for avoiding wrong behaviours and changing minds and actions. Change shouldn´t be rude but must be early. We should claim for a change of mind in rulers and governants, we must convince them about the huge profit we are missing.

  A comment on Conversation: What's one thing you wish you had learned in school?

  Nov 6 2011: Empathy. The ability of knowing people desires and hopes. Sometimes you meet people able to really understand you, and capable of encouraging you to do something you thought you couldn´t.. I wish i could help people on that way.
