Nov 19 2011: You will never change a culture without first changing the mindset of those who manage and influence it. Learning and education are intrinsically tied to each other and will always be a life long experience whether we choose or choose not to participate.
Nov 19 2011: entertain the education and educate the entertainer, by this I mean find a way to obtain an academic response through the method of entertainment while using the entertainment in a form that challenges one to explore and understand its mechanics and design.
Nov 19 2011: create some hands on learning labs that relate directly to improving the immediate physical and social environment of the learnerscombined with a blended curriculum format.
Nov 19 2011: that there are too many static classrooms in the overall educational system which will never breed creativity or problem solving mindsets that lead to forward thinking cultures.
Nov 2 2011: I think I wanted to do so much and things kept getting in the way and before you know it the kids are grown and there are grandchildren. So what I finally discovered is that it was so complex and ahead of its time that the time is now and I want to give it back to a generation that came after me and one who needs it more now than I did then. (smile) Getting is good, but giving is greater!
