  Dec 5 2011: Frankly, colds & flu kill people, cost $billions in lost productivity and just plain suck. Why would you say this is SPAM & irrelevant? It's simple, effective and inexpensive. It's a good thing, getting rid of colds and flus.

  Dec 4 2011: What are you gargling with now, Gerald? Alcoholic or similarly germ-killing mouthwash or toothpaste while you brush? I don't care what the ingredients are right now, just that it's working, not changing my or any of the 150 volunteers' immune systems and it feels great to not get colds or flu. Elderberries have been used in medicine for thousands of years and are named that in part because they were effective for weakened, aging immune systems to boost them. For pregnancy or children, problems arise when the immune system is overly increased. Similarly people with immune problems are usually under medical care and it is important to not change things for the worse. So, cousin, it's safe, effective and simple to do am & pm. I do it after brushing.

  Dec 4 2011: I set up the testing with 150 volunteers to protect their anonymity. I felt that the protocols were safe and effective after 6 months of efficacy and didn't want to delay their publication. The levels of use of Elderberry juice generally found in herbals & on the products raise IG-E levels & will provoke problems with the immune system. The protocol leaves immune systems alone, so it's safe for children pregnancy, and people with existing immune problems.

  Dec 4 2011: My posts [#2] expire monthly, but isn't this IMPORTANT? The tests with HPV & HIV as well as RSV are a little more complicated and ongoing. So, no, Doc Hollis is not spamming you; I just wants you, too, to never get a cold or flu again

  Dec 4 2011: The sterility of urine makes this Ayurvedic practice safe, but I know of no ingredients in bovine urine that would produce Cancer prevention. The only way would be a rinsing of cancerous environmental factors from the area.
  Mouthwash would do that as well as anything.

  Nov 2 2011: Great! Why do you leave out other monotheists like Native Americans, Sikhs, etc... even Hindus and their offshoots are ultimately monotheistic in their creation concept. Having a universal name [why not Great Spirit?], though, is a wonderful idea, embraced by most people of faith along with the Golden Rule.

  Nov 2 2011: Lobbying, according to Tim Blackburn, is communication; that it's all special, one-percenters is a misconception. Bypass K Street and flood DC with emails and Occupy DC Electronically!!!

  Oct 29 2011: Didn't bother to do that, just want to be as virus free as possible as quickly as possible. Elderberries grow to 30 feet in two years in the Bay Area, so new supplies are very quickly available. Extract of the juice costs about $25 for enough to keep a flight attendant or preschool teacher, etc... free of colds for a month. I have no stock in manufacturers like Gaia or Eclectic Collection [no alcohol], but used them in testing. It's worth it to me to be virus free. I am an emphysemic and cannot keep this a secret. I can't really monetize it. I can imagine quite a number of products using Sambuca, but don't have the capital to do that. I am working on autoimmune disease problems, having lost my mother to Scleroderma and friends to ALS, I am close to a number of people with a variety of autoimmune conditions. Besides, mosquitoes spread viruses by blood.

  Oct 29 2011: I used 150 people of varied immune systems, including myself. I did promise them anonymity.
  I really don't know if I have peers-I am the Chuckpa medico and a forensic anthropologist. I know how to run a double-blind trial and how to avoid the placebo effect when testing a protocol. I feel that the looming virus season called for the release of this simple remedy. I grow Elderberries and other medicines, native and otherwise. Native Americans have used Sambuca nigra to "strengthen the inner warrior" for millenia. I don't remember where I heard that there was something in the juice that prevents viruses from infecting mucus membranes. I didn't even Google it, just ran with the idea of being able to fight back against a social disease we all suffer from. This will not eliminate viral infections, after all, mosquitoes are still spreading malaria as well.
