About Robby

An idea worth spreading

There was a time in the not-too-distant past when people were more connected to their food sources, especially during the time of World War II, when so-called "Victory Gardens" were a part of most households. Today we experience billions of dollars and countless hours spent by many people to create lush lawns bathed in potable water, fertilizers, pesticides, and manicured by gas-powered equipment purely for the sake of aesthetics, possible neighborhood vanity, and to follow poorly legislated city codes. What if we were to reconsider yards once again for the sake of food production? Could the disconnection between people and their food sources then be bridged?
