I am an English nutritional therapist, currently living in Berlin after spending three years heading a detox program at The Spa Resorts in Thailand. In my work I focus on treating the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Nutritional therapy aims to correct imbalances in the body's systems and treat the underlying cause of the problem.
I am particularly interested in the link between stress and ill-health. The stressed body cannot perform proper regeneration and detoxification functions, and as a result, many imbalances may arise. The work/play balance for many people has not yet been achieved and often lack of quality, nurturing "play time" and relaxation are the cause of ill health.
Through my work at The Spa, I have thousands of people through cleansing and fasting programs for detoxification purposes.
I am also a certified yoga teacher from the Sivananda organisation and can offer advice on stress-relieving exercises and correct breathing techniques to bring relaxation and energy into the body.
I aims to help my clients find their own inner health potential and guide them to make the correct choices for their current situation.

The human body is not designed to withstand chronic, daily low-level stress, such as that experienced in today's modern, fast-paced lifestyles. Once upon a time, we would undergo short, sharp bouts of stress for fighting, hunting, etc and would then have time to rest. In today's world with deadlines, financial pressures, pollution, traffic jams, high work loads combined with poor quality nutrient intake and pollution, our bodies are on a constant stress response. Everybody wants more relaxation, fun, vibrant health, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, to jump out of bed inspired and excited about the day ahead, to feel strong and fit in their bodies, free of aches and pains and emotional turbulence. It seems many people have lost the ability to look after themselves and to find the time for skipping, playing and laughing. How do we find the balance?
