  • A comment on Conversation: Recycling cigarette filters

Oct 11 2011: Cigs are too easy to throw on the ground, I do not see this as a potential successful idea. But don't let that stop you.
  • A comment on Conversation: Tax System that allows people to choose how their money would be spent.

Oct 11 2011: I like this idea, it makes a lot of sense but there is a problem. The motivation of the public to voice their opinions as well as access to the internet.

Otherwise it would work I believe. I would also add to this a set in stone tax on income of 13%. Rather than adjusting it based on income. This way everyone would pay their share and poorer people would not get hosed.
  • A comment on Conversation: What do you think is the main reason why contemporary kids do not like / understand opera?

Oct 11 2011: Opera is an old school form of music, which does not mean it is bad. Kids today are so influenced by the media that they do not come up with their own opinions. The main stream music these days is trash, it has no purpose or meaning. The only way I believe opera could be brought back is to advertise it differently. I do not exactly know what differently means in this case but the way it is portrayed today is the reason it is not accepted by the youth.
