The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism. (Albert Einstein)

A comment on Talk: David Brooks: The social animal
We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift."
"It is better for people to be like the beasts...they should be more intuitive; they should not be too conscious of what they are doing while they are doing it."

A comment on Talk: Wade Davis: The worldwide web of belief and ritual
"Most people who have been enlightened in previous incarnations normally begin to regain their past-life enlightenment around the age of twenty-nine, when their astrological Saturn return takes place."
But I am not sure about this one,
"Many people claim to be liberated...it's an endless list! According to "moi", as Ms. Piggy would say, there are currently, on this earth, 12 beings who are self-realized. Eleven are men, one is a woman. Most of them are in the Far East, most of them you've never heard of and probably never will."
when google "enlightenment at age 29", there is Eckhart Tolle, and Buddha left palace at age 29.
This 12 people thing is hard to find evidence from the internet,
A comment on Talk: Debate: Does the world need nuclear energy?
We are still trying to get more out of the earth and universe for ourselves, I am not sure that really will bring us true happiness. There are people who can consume very little and be very happy and energetic, while some are eating a lot and go to gym to work the calories off. Standing on each side, there are different perspectives, but the truth beyond different perspectives, it should stand above all these useless arguments and different people's own illusions.
