A comment on Talk: Mike Rowe: Learning from dirty jobs

Aug 31 2010: I saw Mike Rowe at the Boy Scout National Jamboree. He gave the boys and leaders such a great talk. He inspired over 45,000 boys to attain more. The greatest thing was that his mom and dad were there. That is a son that shows appreciation. My dad worked a Dirty Job for over 40 years and my job can be quite dirty at times as well. As Mike says, "a Scout is clean but not afraid to get Dirty!!"

A comment on Talk: Jennifer 8. Lee hunts for General Tso

Apr 16 2009: I love this! I love how the history of food has played such an important role is history. I live near the city where Thomas Jefferson ate the tomato showing it was not poisonous. The battle of Fredericksburg had a Union Irish and Confederate Irish unit fighting each other after leaving Ireland in a potato famine started by a potato that originally came from South America.
