Well, am new to TED but I have watched many inspiring video's especially from Yang Lan , the Oprah of China, also Euvin Naidoo, who explains why investing in Africa can make great business sense and lastly Musician and activist Bono, arguing that aid to Africa isn't just another celebrity cause; it's a global emergency.
Currently am collecting coins hoping to attend TED Atlanta this year.

An idea worth spreading
People try all sorts of things to lose weight but the best way to loose weight is by sustaining skipping rope for more than 20 minutes, at least. Start with 10 minutes of warm-up exercises before you skip. Always skip on a level piece of ground so that any strain on the body is evenly distributed through your legs and thighs in order to avoid injury. After five minutes, make the rope go in the opposite direction to ensure all-round benefit. Skipping 5-15 minutes every day will get you into shape. To maintain a good level of fitness, aim to skip for 20 minutes, three times a week. Calories burnt per minute: 4.8
