Brenda Laurel: Games for girls
The fact that this took 11 years to post heavily echoes Ms. Laurel's argument that girls aren't really on the radar--few if any are listening to them and evidently the study of them doesn't generate a lot of traffic. Too bad TED didn't take the high road long ago, here. I guess the fact that it was posted at all is redeeming, though. Thanks Ms Laurel for caring enough to look, see, care and act. I trust the values promoted in your products help preserve childhood innocence and give girls hope about who and how they are and are becoming. BTW: thanks for tacking on the Armageddon joke at the end--provided a blaring contrast as well as a sound chuckle.
