My dad has been in a transferable job ever since I was born. So, going places and learning new languages and cultures has been a part of me ever since my childhood and continues to enthuse me! Though I have never traveled outside India, I deeply appreciate the power of diversity(in India and otherwise too) and should admit that it has influenced my life in ways more than one. Starting from food, cultures, music, art to religion, philosophy, science and technology, I've had a wide exposure to a large variety of things, which first made me appreciate small and big things alike in life and then propelled me to explore myself more completely. The inner exploration unfolded itself in many ways starting with a deep interest in music and the urge to experiment with different musical instruments. At about the same time poetry, arts and philosophy influenced me deeply. Technology and science dominate my life now and I am set to explore them..... :)
My TED story is:
Explore Life as you live it!!

A comment on Conversation: As a trilingual or bilingual, what role does language play in the creation of your identity? Which language do you think in?
I feel connected wherever I go and it doesn't take me a long while before I start thinking in the language of the place.
Thinking in different languages is an act that transpires inner beauty and lets your mind capture the underlying essence of all differing opinions and cultures, while at the same time letting you explore the iridescence of the mind space! It simply makes you a better person! I feel that thinking in different languages has imparted a certain 'flexibility' to my mind.
