• A comment on Conversation: A memetic approach to "explaining" the existance of music and why it is such an effective way of communication.

  Oct 19 2011: Music can set the theme the tone the tempo, temperature....How many musical scores serve to underwrite the genius of cinematography and script of an award winning film or theatrical show? How does music touch our lives, energize or inspire us, even soothe babes to sleep? Ritual drumbeats have been also used as a tribal means of communication for centuries. Exotic dance music as preludes to seduction. a quiet timbre relaxes and heals the spirit.
  Music can express joy and sorrow and even fear that all can understand. And of course we use it to attempt to congregate like minds and thinkers to the convivial deal table; it has been rumored in a study that CEO's entrepreneurs and independent thinkers favor jazz and syncopated rhythm, impressionist type music over simple cadences. Perhaps the inventive and creative mind is geared to accept these variants more smoothly ?

  Oct 17 2011: There is ONE lunatic out of a million... perhaps...but history has seen all this before. The positive message IS of course, if we constrict ourselves in thoughts, creativity and ideas we will never really be able to DREAM "the impossible"- which has been shown to be at times very probable. History has shown that as well.....

  A comment on Conversation: Who is your Everyday Hero?

  Oct 8 2011: the next best hero is the hero of the hour- the one that adds to or enlightens the day, it could be a personal gesture, a comment or lesson, a person doing by example. we can even learn from another pain, once we give there is no end to giving more of yourself, and its terrific when you can also be open to receive on all levels. V

• A comment on Conversation: What could high schools do to improve college readiness for their students?

  Oct 8 2011: you are miles ahead of most! accepting and adapting to change is key in all aspects of life..the faster we can move on and recover, the better we can transition to greater results
  We need a better grade of education in the US not just babysitters. Encouraging more guest spekars debates and financing this should be a part of every corportae mantra, after all the new ideas will eventually move to science and business and even arts V

  Dream it then DO it. This is how we encourage invetors and entrepreneurs

  Oct 3 2011: These are some the topics I'm wanting to research, to discuss and answer on my Music and Money broadcast. Communication is essential between all of us in many forms as possible, social networking had exceeded its original intent. Clearly sharks are in the financial waters now more than ever,as you say. Since the stalling of our economy and the meltdown of traditional banks and their lending guidelines we have seen doldrums for several years. We will need to begin to use more boutique lenders, private entities and some individuals to pick up and fill in the template that was left blank. Without this we will not easily reseed dollars for manufacturing, business, agriculture, invention, medical breakthroughs, technology and other key industries that will get Americans back to work.
