About Me

I will try to make this as brief as possible, (by not breaking TED's 5000 character limit) I really do not like reading long profiles, and I am assuming you don’t either, so no need to put what I have done and how many degrees I do not have. If you want my autobiography go to amazon.com, I have many passions but my main one that keeps me awake at night is this schooling system. We have so many smart youth in the world but they do not think that they are just because they do not have good grades given to them by someone who they are probably more intelligent than. My main aim is to create an ecosystem of youth who are driven by their passions, who are allowed to be creative, and who will not be ranked on a scale that is just based on a “guess what the teacher wants you to put on the test” scenario. I promote the exposure of youth ideas; it is my conviction that EVERYONE has something of value to share. It’s my will to bring that out into the open, whether they believe in themselves or not. I am not against education but rather “schooling” it’s about time it evolved. As I said before I would make this a brief as possible so I am closing now and don’t mind the sharpness of the diction, I am a bit softer than what these words read.
Cheers.

  • A reply on Conversation: How do you think the single story can be prevented so there wont be an, 'ethnocide' situation?

Mar 25 2013: Ok, here is my interpretation of Chimamanda's 'single story'................wait check out this picture first https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/577903_424886600930234_1203786003_n.jpg

to me basically its about having one perspective for over 1,000 different species.

Mar 23 2013: Ken Brown, how are you?
I would say that the pool is rather mixed, of those who feel left
behind and those who do not. The fact is that they are conscious of
places either real or made by gate keepers where their ideas and
voices whether practical or abstract can be heard, at least thank God
for the net and mediums like TED, it gives some of us hope that if we
can provide solutions that are relevant to our social circles not
depending on qualifications that we have or don't have or who we know
in 'high' places that we can prevent this single story.

A comment on Conversation: If you have NEVER been to Africa, when someone mentions "Africa" or you hear "Africa", what is the FIRST thing that comes into your mind?

Mar 22 2013: lol ok I'm cheating, you can disqualify me later since I have been there before and currently am in. The first thing that would come to my mind when people say I want to go to Africa is that, "I hope they know its not a country but a continent, since even Ghana and Nigeria are so different in culture but yet they share a border." (sry I am answering a completely different question)
  • A comment on Conversation: Does anyone think of the latest move to prosecute Nazi war criminals as something justifiable?

Dec 15 2011: The question is justifiable to who? From one perspective justifiability is time-bound, just based on the emotions of individuals until they don't care anymore or until they are dead. On another perspective it is eternal, when there is a law put out by a government that law is cemented in time. I personally do not see the point of it, most of the individuals convicted of war crimes were simply brainwashed into doing such horrible crimes but, now that light has come to them, I believe that they would have lived through the remorse of what they did, probably throughout their whole life times. I am having mixed feelings about it, but I believe that it is necessary, of course a law is a law and some will saw that it should be flexible in some areas, I believe so, but I believe that it should be the decision of the war victims to decide that.
  • A reply on Conversation: How does one not acquiesce to suffering?

Dec 12 2011: Bravo! Divide and conquer it what that seems like, as well as focusing.
    Most helpful!
  • A reply on Conversation: How does one not acquiesce to suffering?

Dec 12 2011: Hmm now this is food for thought, this reminds me of the, "state of nature" propounded by Thomas Hobbes saying how society gives up its rights to a sovereign body otherwise known as the, "moral entrepreneurs". It seems like to answer a question one, needs to ask more questions, it is true that suffering is not exclusive to only Nigeria, and this is just going to be the way things are if Jesus tarries. But now how does one mitigate against this suffering? One can only know the amount of roots a tree has by digging deeper and deeper, I can only see the problems that I have dug into with the amount of knowledge that I have and have handled, but for me, one root out of the many roots that I know is ignorance. But ignorance of what is another question? Seems like I have so much more digging to do, but I am getting closer.
    Thank you so much!

Nov 30 2011: lol I will pass on the pornography, at least fantasies of food will come before fantasies of women lol, and that's a nice idea especially for the rural and traditional settings where technology and crowd accelerated innovation is low, just hurry up and be that billionaire so you can contribute over here!

A reply on Conversation: How does one not acquiesce to suffering?

Nov 30 2011: Wow, I like that frog story, in fact in a way you gave me a piece to this puzzle and that is simply "knowledge". It is not until another frog tells the frog in the boiling water that, "Hey Mr. Frog, if you don't get out your finished!" Or the frog in the pot comes to the realization that there is something better out there. So maybe one piece that we and other countries need is enlightenment in a contemporary fashion. Thanks!

A reply on Talk: Natalie Warne: Being young and making an impact

Nov 20 2011: Reminds me of Michelangelos quote that the coolest Ken Robinson said, "the problem with human beings is not that we aim too high and fail but that we aim too low and succeed" btw I agree that we need some more insanity or freedom, it is what allows us to be our true selves.

A comment on Conversation: Should everyone of us fear the moment when he achieves his biggest dream ? How will his life be after achieving the ultimate dream?

Nov 15 2011: Sorry to be the critic but I believe that there is no such thing as a highest dream, and if one achieves their highest dream then their purpose is basically finished. We live in a world that is dynamic and ever changing, not one that is static there will continually be greater, higher, brighter, and better dreams out there because individuals like you, me, and the other TEDsters will continue to innovate and will definitely have ideas that are worth spreading!
