What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Generally, pursuing objectives where failure is not a possibility is not challenging oneself. Conquering the fear of the unknown and taking some risks are some of the most fulfilling things we can do. Every victory or success is just a litter sweeter because surely we have had failures along the way. For this hypothetical situation I would do few things, stop being politically correct and truly express my feelings, enact world peace, end hunger, fix the middle east, give all kids loving nurturing parents and the education they need, figure out overpopulation and global warming, just some little things like that, if failure was guaranteed not to be an option.

What are the best ways to stop wasting water?
I guess I would need a better definition of what wasting water really is. My definition wouldn't be someone taking excessively long showers, as that water that goes down the drain doesn't leave the planet. Yes it does have to make its way through a wastewater treatment plant but eventually either collect into rivers and lakes or evaporate and fall as rain. I would consider wasting water any act that leaves it in an unusable conditions. For example, industrial manufacturing that contaminates water in it's processes. Another waste would be ethanal, that not only uses food for fuel, but it takes a lot of water to create that food.
