Born in Belo Horizonte, Brasil, always very well surrounded. Part of two very communicative, connected and quite migrant families, granddaughter of a Lebanon migrant and of a woman who become mayor of a very small city at her sixties. Always loved people, stories and convivence, always nurture friendships and relationships. Lived for one year in Bologna, Italy, where I studied in Political Science at the oldest university in the world, could live a wonderful experience with very nice people and had the wonderful opportunity of being introduced to the post colonialism studies. Social and environmental activist, I truly believe that every human being deserves a decent life. Graduated in social sciences and became a social entrepreneur on 2012.
I'm mostly passionated about people, stories and ideas, besides creating dots and connecting them. I also love to observe the sky, listen to good music, cook and eat nice food in good companies.
Never stop to dream and to find your connection with yourself. When we are connected, we don't lose capacity of dreaming, idealizing, spreading ideas, realizing. When we are connected we feel that our feelings are real and worth to be respected and shared. We need to believe in ourselves to believe that we can make a different world. Change is possible!
Almost everything that comes with sincerity and respect. I love to talk about nice ideas, social entrepreneurship, local and community stories and I really love to listen to life stories!
Listening. Growing worms to threat my organic garbage. Cooking pasta and bread (my favorite one is focaccia). Having a fertile imagination.
i don't have a TED real story yet, but I have some incredible TEDx ones! The first TEDx event I attended to, TEDxVeroPeso, was really a turning point for me: I met wonderful new friends, amazing ways of life and I came back home decided to quit my job. One month later I did it and headed to São Paulo to do a social entrepreneurship course and seven months later I opened my own company to do what I really believe! About TED stories... Well, watching John Francis talk about his (silent) life really touched me for life!
