Christiane Dubé is co-founder and a translator at echo26, as well as co-owner of 80/20 Management Inc. She has a diploma in translation from McGill University (Montréal), and regularly takes part in workshops and conferences on translation, linguistics, and business practices. In March 2011, she began studies in journalism at Concordia University. Christiane has over 20 years experience in corporate communications, marketing, and translation for companies in evolving in telecommunications, marketing, e-commerce, e-learning, advertising, dance, radio, and television. She also brings to the table valuable experience in web ergonomics and project management.

I've been tuning in to online TED conferences for a few years now and only just realized last month (August 2011) that I could translate some of the conferences that I've most enjoyed. Translating widens my perspective on so many topics and gives me opportunities to keep learning and tweeking my knowledge--or lack of!
