  Aug 26 2011: Like I said.....prayer and leading spirit.....and of course, the one part that was definitely translated correctly and is backed up by scientific and historic evidence....
  
  Also the fact that it's not just revered to in the bible but in other religions as well and even in the Greek mythology.....

  Aug 26 2011: There used to be one language......in biblical times.....then it changed, for GOD saw what people wanted to do and what they are capable of when they all understand each other.......They build a tower.....God gave them many languages so they won't understand each other, and never again will there be ONE language.....

  Aug 26 2011: I thought it up yes, but maybe someone else had the thought as well......I do feel that some Doctors are somewhat arrogant yes, they think they are so good that they alone hold the key to life? application of technology is never the sole factor when it comes to life, although some doctors think so. Just have a look at the bible when it comes to healing. It has a preventative approach, and when it comes to actually healing or curing, it almost never involved medicine.....It involved the hand of GOD. doctors have said before that there is no hope.....then years later the patient still lives a great life after miraculously recovering from the illness.....I was in the emergency services for a couple of years and these days I joined forces with a friend in a business that deals with emergency situations. Altogether me and Wynand have handled probably 20 000-30 000 emergency situations. I have seen people come out of totally wrecked cars with a couple of scratches, and I have seen people die in front of my eyes when the car had only a couple of scratches.....The role of doctors are to intervene when people get sick or injured by their own choices or the reckless behavior of others. When people get sick because GOD allows it, or they are born deformed or disabled because GOD have a mission for them, then there will be nothing any doctor can do for that person....Although there are doctors who ignore this and try in any case. You see when other people are not "normal" in our eyes, then we tend to try and get them there by all means necessary.
  
  
  Here is a good example of someone that was born without limbs and discovered the meaning of hes life.....Sometimes there is NO medical REASON for things....

• A comment on Conversation: Tax Systems: Currently we have a mixture of paying tax as you earn and spend.... shouldn't we rather move to pay tax as you spend only?

  I own a business and I know from experience that employers try to hire less and less staff to do more and more. I also rather employ multi purpose personal, like for instance a qualified personal manager that can do some logistics at a satisfying level, or a secretary that can do some basic book keeping.....this also leads to the situation that we are moving to in the world where people with wide range of experience are ranked above people with big degrees.... If I have to pay a person lets say 3000 in salary, I have to pay that person 4000 if the tax is 25%.....thats to make sure the employee gets at least the 3000. When I give a raise I have to consider the next tax bracket for I would have to pay the raise plus the extra tax, otherwise my employee will end up with less after the raise. If we don't tax income, then there is two scenarios......
  1.) the employee gets more salary
  or
  2.) the employer uses the extra to employ more people.
  
  I would take it that the employer is smarter than the employee so it will probably resolve to no 2.
  
  This means more employees, so it means creating jobs at the percentage that was income tax........Go and do the exercise and see how proportionate income tax is to not creating jobs???

  Like you said yourself Ryan, people will buy a little less? I don't totally agree with you unless you add the word "stuff".and "debt"
  
  You see Ryan, poor people buy stuff and Middle class buy debt. With things being a little more expensive people will start to THINK before they just buy a second blue fishing rod because it looks nice, or the 3 little swallows to hang on the lounge wall, or snow white and the dwarf statues for the garden......STUFF
  
  The middle class will think before they buy those unnecessary club memberships, extra policies, etc.
