Thanks to their generosity, we are able to provide fellowships to this event for 100 individuals who we believe have an important role to play in Africa’s future. These fellowships will cover the conference fee, plus travel to Arusha from within Africa, and accommodation. (These fellowships have all been granted; we are no longer taking applications.)
Sponsors commitments also allowed us to reduce the conference fee from TED's normal rate. A TEDGlobal conference pass costs just $2800 (plus subsidized accommodation ranging from $500-800 for all four nights.)
