Before applying for a TEDx license, make sure you've read our basic event guidelines, naming rules, and the responsibilities of the host. Each license only covers a single event.
Please note:
For events with fewer than 100 attendees, TED will approve your registration in 5-10 days.
For events with more than 100 attendees, TED will email you to discuss further. You will only be approved to host an event with more than 100 attendees if you have attended a TED Conference.
Once your license has been approved, you will receive a welcome email. The email will include a "How to Host a TEDx Event" toolkit, as well as materials that cover reaching out to potential sponsors.
