University Events are events hosted by current university administration staff, faculty or students attending the university. Students must first receive permission from their university before using the name of their university as the event name.

About University Events

The University event license follows the same format as the Standard event license, except that this event is co-branded with a university, e.g. TEDx(UniversityName). The event name must clearly indicate that this event is a university event, by using the full name of the university.

This license is only available to current students, faculty or staff of the university. Alumni are not eligible for university event licenses. There will only be one license allocated per university. In exceptional circumstances, where a university is divided into separate campuses, we will consider licensing a separate event specific to that remote campus.
