An ED Event is a type of license granted to organizers of TEDx events whose subject is the future of education.
About ED Events
ED Event licenses are allocated on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of TED to educators or individuals in the educational community.
Organizers of ED-type events should follow this naming convention: TEDx[place name]ED, e.g. "TEDxPhiladelphiaED".
Licenses for names that include an existing TEDx event name -- e.g., TEDxAmsterdamED -- will only be allocated with the approval of the active licensee.
