TED2009 Waitlist
Regular registration for TED2009 closed in March 2008. (Please make note of this for next year: TED sells out fast.) You can still register to join our waitlist, and we'll let you know should any spots come available.
A few things to know about TED2009 registration:
- Only a limited number of TED registrations are available each year; they're granted at the discretion of the TED team based on a broad set of criteria aimed at ensuring a rich and stimulating exchange of ideas among a diverse group of peers.
- Standard registrations cost $6,000. A limited number of discounted registrations are made available for those in the education or non-profit worlds, who could not otherwise attend. Registration details for these are above.
- A Standard TED2009 registration extends from April 15, 2008 - April 14, 2009. Benefits include attendance at the TED2009 Conference (Feb 3-7, 2009), as well as bi-monthly TED Book Club mailings, a set of DVDs archiving the TED2009 conference, and priority for 2010 registration. (See full description of registration benefits)
- TED2009 will be the first conference held at our exciting new home in Long Beach, California. All registrations now include Main Hall passes.
- We ask that you take the essay questions on the registration form very seriously; they're the key tool we have for understanding who you are. Read about the application process »
