Blowback: Where, why, and how has, in both world history and in the US, direct involvement created negative results?
I am doing a research project on the concept of Blowback. I'm trying to find examples of how our involvement in conflicts in the past has created more problems then solutions. I would also like to find information on other civilizations in the past who have had similar results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The war in iraq under bush jnr,i was too young to pay attention to the war in kuwait. The war in iraq i supported up to a point where once the regime was toppled america should of pulled out,it may seem like abandonment but in the end they would of had the respect of the iraqi people though at the cost of alot of civilian life as the factions vied for control. If the american forces had retreated to set desert camps and setup huge refugee shelters to receive civilians in flight alot of young americans would still be alive today as they could of defended the positions more effectively. This is how i thought back in 2003.
