The British Museum donates the Cyrus Cilinder to the National Museum in Tehran, after the fall of the current Iranian regime.

Bring the clay back home for peace. The scriptures and this cilinder were written by human beings, the majority male. In our times the scriptures and this cilinder are interpreted by human beings, still the majority male. It is high time to accept that a human being is not able to know the truth of god and to speak for him. Or is it her? A human being is able to show respect and to learn from errors in the past. We know very well the past of the United Kingdom in the Middle East. A gesture like this will bring major relaxation in the mutual relations between East and West. And that is what the world needs now.

  • Mar 15 2012: I'd say 'British museum will send the Cyrus Cylinder back home after the collapse of current Iranian regime' and I absolutely agree with this!
  • Mar 2 2012: The contribution of Juliette Zahn is gone and that is really sad, because it was an important one for me. Stone became clay. And I went on reading about the Cyrus Cilinder and discovered that it was found in the ruins of Babylon. In that case my idea is much easier to realize :)

And by coïncidence I found http://biblicalarchaeology.wordpress.com/category/mesopotamia/ and here comes the stone, Juliette! A new idea about a second donation. The Louvre donates the Tablet of Zimri-Lim to a museum in Homs, after the fall of the current regime.

    Thank you for reading.

Mar 3 2012: Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate the point you are trying to make.
      • Mar 3 2012: Thank you very much Juliëtte for your comprehensive and philosophical comment. My English is not good enough to understand the depth of your words directly. I have to do some translation. It certainly was not my intention to throw stones. I listened again to Neil MacGregor and it makes me pondering. My idea is still growing. Thanks again :)

Mar 4 2012: goedemorgen!! and I wish I could speak Dutch as well as you speak English.
  • Feb 25 2012: ...through the civil strife.. You wake me up. The idea is not complete. It is very important to choose the right person that will receive the Cyrus Cilinder for Iran. A woman. Shirin Ebadi

Thank you for your Yep, goodnight
