less than 1% paid for the worlds weapons would be enough to put every child to school, still it doesn't happen. How can we change this?

Less than one per cent of what the world spent every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.

How can we change this?

    Feb 6 2012: I couldn't agree more! We have such a huge Military Industry, Toy Industry, Restaurant Industry, Mortgage Industry, Sales, Media, Auto...etc...but what about schools, safe homes, and food?
