Medical care in the US is a system that is flawed because a patient is on his own as he is rolled from test to test and ologist to ologist

How would a sports team perform without a coach or multiple coaches?

What would a symphony sound like without a conductor?

Dr Goldman had the guts to admit that at least one human in a white coat makes mistakes.

I see patients passed from specialist (ologist) to specialist, from hospitalist back to the community.

My only question is who is the conductor of the medical orchestra.

The poor patient is often medically unsophisticated and no one in the system is being paid to look at the entire care of the patient. When the FP passes the patient to the specialist and the patient moves in to a hospital setting who has time to really get to know the patient and look out for his well being
