Suggestions for speakers

Hi All,

We are planning our TEDxPlazaCibeles 2012 edition. Our main theme is about "common people, outstanding ideas" that can change the world. We are focused on social entrepeneurship, but any other suggestion is welcome.

Could you suggest an outstanding speaker?.

Jan 22 2012: John or Hank Green. John is an author, Hank is an entrepreneur, and both are social activists for the "nerd community" or "nerd fighters" (fighting for them, not against them). It's an amazing movement, with the catch phrase of Don't Forget To Be Awesome (DFTBA).

Would you please let me know; when and where will this event take place? I asked this question because I alm interested in talking in any TEDx in Spain. (I have not contacted with any TEDx yet as I am new in TED community)
At the moment I am in the process of preparing my talk as I need detailed information about the topic.

Entrepreneurship - is a great topic in Spain.
I teach Peak Performance pyschology and Communication to young entrepreneurs and students.
If you are interested maybe we can talk further.

An Outstanding Speaker in and from Spain?

Renewable energy - can be a topic too; as there is more solar energy and less sun in Germany than in Spain.

  Thank you for your time and interest in our event, TEDxPlazaCibeles.
  The 2012 edition will be on May 26th, in madrid.
  We have contacted some potential speakers, but we have not closed yet our agenda.
  We have planned 8 high standards speakers for the 18-min talks, and 2 or 3 "unknown" speakers for our 5-min talks new format.
  Where do you think you could fit?. We have very high standards, since we are inviting Nobel Prize winners, Principe de Asturias Award winners, Kiva and Ashoka CEO's , MIT and Harvard directors, etc...
  If you feel you can fit in our event, either with the 18-min or the 5-min sessions, please do not hesitate to contact me (rafael.salazar@tedxplazacibeles.com), and propose a catching and fascinating experience or talk about an outstanding idea related to Social Entrepeneurship.

    did you mean people with outstanding ideas worth spreading?
    
    why not, Mr Zara - Amancio Ortega Gaona? or he might be too busy?
    I would love to listen to him. If Sir Richard Branson and Bill Gates could find time for TED, he can too.
