RE-THINKING AN ALIEN WORLD.

A Distant super Earth named "55 Cancri E" is wetter and weirder than astromnomers thought possible. NASA's Spitzer space telescope recently sent back information that has researchers re-thinking the nature of alien worlds.

What would alien life be limited to in our view to be considered "life".

  • Jan 15 2012: I've often thought about this myself, but I think it quickly becomes obvious that we expect that a planet must be like ours to support life and that it must be life in some way similar to ours...because we really have nothing else to go on.

    Stephen Hawking had a documentary on this subject (alternate alien life). I think you would enjoy it.
