Besides, an extreme negative emotional state can cause eating disorders: from over eating to a complete lack of appetite and not eating enough (and not caring about it).
For a pessimist, there is always something to worry about, nothing is ever quite right, bad events seem to last forever, and they surely outweigh the positive ones. Life means fear and sadness most of the time.
However, there is a strategy to feel better called "defensive pessimism" that looks like negative thinking and that is useful for some people.
When we allow ourselves to think negatively we damage our potential in many ways. The worst thing is that we may be so wrapped in negativity that we cannot even see that there are ways out.
Behavioral Negativities --like fear, shame, guilt, arrogance, envy, jealousy, greed, phobia and many other like that-- are considered to be an expression of "Negative Emotions"
Persistent wrong way of thinking, often talking and imagining negative, always thinking bad for others, scandal, gossiping, excessive distrust and doubting; such type of mental make-up destroys the positive force of the work in you and exhausts your resources gradually.
