Who/what is in your brain?

Should we consider brain as 3lb flesh or ....? If anything different then that; then where do we start to search the brain and why?

Dec 28 2011: I don't think anybody is in my brain. I'm sure I would feel them moving around.
What is in my brain is the capacity to store and retrieve an amount of information equivalent to a billion CD's!

Dec 27 2011: Your brain is your means for an objective consciousness. If you don't own your thoughts, someone and/or a group will.
  • Dec 27 2011: Even if you find the part of the brain that operates eveything you know and don't know, who or what is driving?
  • Dec 27 2011: The first part is a great explanation of physical brain... for the one approximately 3 lb.The second and probably the most important part which I believe the most important and the crucial job of the brain "conversion" of the perceptions. How does that happen? What is the nature of it? What parameters play an important role? Who is the boss? Self? what is self?
  • Dec 27 2011: The brain has two natures, one it is the organ which unites all the bodily systems and keeps them functioning so that we can sustain our individual selves and perpetuate our life form though reproduction. The other is a matter of many different interpretations but I posit this, the most important part of what the brain does is what it does when we sleep. We know a lot less about it, but it critical to every animal and they can not evolve and compete without it. Sleep is not just rest, it is exercise of a whole different intellectual experience and deep levels trigger release and deployment of growth hormone some of which grows new cpacity for the mind. Our legend and lore is all about how we scrounge and screw, but the registry where is comes to matter is in the sleeping brain. That's where new growth begins to help us simply scrounge and screw competitively with everyone else.
