High Schools are Businesses

I've recently found out the annual income for my school for gaining new students, out of district. It happens to be in the 14 Million dollar ball park. Wow! Also, we sell High School clothing, Have fund raisers for unnecessary things, and the school has us do the fund raisers for them.

1) Have schools turned into a giant business?
2) Is it right/just?
3) If you were in charge of a school, what would you do with 14 Million Dollars?
